Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has terminated his presidential campaign as his poll numbers continued to plummet from an 18% lead in May.
The accomplished governor who successfully fought out-of-control unions, implemented conservative reforms, slashed Wisconsin’s unemployment rate to 4.6% and became the only governor in American history to survive a 2012 recall election — actually garnering more votes and a higher percentage than in his 2010 election — suspended his campaign today.
Republicans appear to prefer people with no government experience running the government during these precarious times. Dr. Ben Carson, Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina continue to generate enthusiasm and see their numbers surge.
