Police say a 32-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were in the home at the time. They reported three unknown suspects and one known suspect trying to break into their residence.
One of the homeowners shot a 16-year-old suspect. He was still at the scene when officers arrived. He was taken to Wesley in serious condition from the gunshot wound.
