(Before It's News)

God said:

Remind yourself that life is meant to be easy. Have you not had the idea that life is meant to be difficult? From the human point of view, unless life flows as you wish when you wish, life is being difficult, obstructive, getting in your way.

There is no doubt but that life does not always go the way you would choose, yet who is it that says life has to go according to your plan? Maybe the forces of life know more than you. You are not to protest and rant and rail against life.

What would your life have been if you always got what you asked for the way you liked? Much back and forth and up and down. It would seem that one of the good things about life is that all wishes don’t come true.

Not that life always entertains you. There are moments when you are grateful that everything you desired did not come true. You never really know. In any case, you have some say yet not all the say.

On the other hand, there are events in life that, at the time, cannot possibly be in your best interest, yet later you do see a blessing from them. Of course, there are other events that pull out the stops, and it is hard for you to reconcile with these events.

In any case, life has the final say. Look, beloveds, you have enough regrets regarding some choices you made. There are no dress rehearsals. Because you cannot undo – pro or con – better to just drop the weighing and judging of events that have occurred. Maybe there are times when you can unwind some of your choices in life, yet you are not to spend your life on speculating on what has occurred and what you could have done about it now that you look back.

Anyone can choose regret, remorse, and tragedy. Regardless, better to move on. Get out of the past, let go of it. Revise as you might, rehash as it as you might, you can’t turn back the clock. You have to keep forward. What happens next? All you can do is keep going forward. Put your shoulder to the wheel. Life is ahead of you. Life is not in the past. Well, dear ones, it is all illusion anyway.

What is singularly important today may not be tomorrow. Have your vision. See where it takes you. Ultimately, you have to let go of the past. You can’t revise it. Make peace with it. You have to make peace with it.

Where are the snows of yesteryear? Where are the flowers of tomorrow? Where did all your longings and all your worries go? Where is there to flee? Where is there to land? What can you ask yourself? What can you answer?

What you make of the past is what you make of it. What can you bring back? What can you undo? How do you know, even as you may be crestfallen, that what occurs in life is not what is supposed to happen. In any case, there is more to come. You don’t wholly know what was done and what has not been undone.

One thing you can know is that you lived life, and you went on. You lived a life, and it was yours. It was no one else’s exactly. Your life got you somewhere. Your life had a learning curve. You are not the person you started out to be or thought you would be. You are an original.

In this drama called life on Earth, life has been like an old-fashioned dance. You bow, you meet, you go on.

Life on Earth can only be life on Earth – as you interpret it – and then, poof, your visit on Earth is over.
