21st Century Wire says…
It’s well-known, at least to the people of Britain, how the overwhelming majority the county’s top political positions are currently occupied by men who attended Britain’s most expensive and elitist private schools.
No single political organization embodies the current political epoch of elitism more than the present Conservative, or Tory government. Many argue that, in terms of the ruling class, this kind elitist ghetto fosters a certain culture of arrogance and ultimately – a total detachment from the plebs they portend to rule over.
Bullingdon Club 1987: (1) the Hon. Edward Sebastian Grigg, the heir to Baron Altrincham of Tormarton and current chairman of Credit Suisse (UK), (2) David Cameron, (3) Ralph Perry Robinson, a former child actor, designer, furniture-maker, (4) Ewen Fergusson, son of the British ambassador to France, Sir Ewen Fergusson and now at City law firm Herbert Smith, (5) Matthew Benson, the heir to the Earldom of Wemyss and March, (6) Sebastian James, the son of Lord Northbourne, a major landowner in Kent, (7) Jonathan Ford, the-then president of the club, a banker with Morgan Grenfell, (8) Boris Johnson, the-then president of the Oxford Union, now Lord Mayor of London, (9) Harry Eastwood, the investment fund consultant. Recently, the public have allowed a narrow glimpse into Westminster’s political farm system, through revelations about a number of elitist societies and aristocratic grooming associations, like The Bullingdon Club at Oxford University (pictured above), which one Tory MP recently described as follows to the Daily Mail newspaper:
“What it basically involved was getting drunk and standing on restaurant tables, shouting about “f***ing plebs”,’ he says. ‘It was all about despising poor people.”
This type of open contempt for the lesser privileged classes is hardly shocking, especially after listening to the man many consider as the country’s poster child for elitism, one of PM David Cameron’s fellow fraternal brethren at Bullingdon, Boris Johnson, who seems to lord over the lower classes, preaching the virtues of greed – a behavior which was no doubt cultivated through years of grooming in the country’s conveyor belt of highly-networked elitist educational institutions.
Piggy in the Middle?
That’s not all. That same article also revealed a passage from a recent unauthorized biography for Cameron, written by ex-Conservative Party treasurer Lord Ashcroft.
The Daily Mail’s salacious headline on Monday read,“Drugs, debauchery and the book that lays Dave bare,” and it described various and sundry other levels of elitist depravity while at Oxford.
One particular incident involving a young Prime Minister Cameron, which an on-looker described part of a club initiation ceremony dinner event for the Piers Gaveston society – which involved a dead pig’s head. Shocking, to say the least:
“A distinguished Oxford contemporary claims Cameron once took part in an outrageous initiation ceremony at a Piers Gaveston event, involving a dead pig. His extraordinary suggestion is that the future PM inserted a private part of his anatomy into the animal’s mouth.
The source — himself an MP — first made the allegation out of the blue at a business dinner in June 2014. Lowering his voice, he claimed to have seen photographic evidence of this disgusting ritual.”
Libby Watson from the website Gawker also noted parallels to a similar narrative which aired on British TV, saying, “Many people immediately drew parallels with Charlie Brooker’s 2011 TV series Black Mirror, the first episode of which depicts a prime minister being forced to have sex with a pig on live TV to save the life of a British princess, who has been captured by terrorists. Brooker tweeted last night that he had never heard the allegations when he wrote the script.”
Just to clear it up: nope, I’d never heard anything about Cameron and a pig when coming up with that story. So this weirds me out.

In what appears to be a PR damage control move, various wagons are circling around Cameron. The Piers Gaveston society’s founder quickly denied Cameron was ever a member. Cameron’s office would not commented on the allegation, declaring that it would “not dignify” the claim with a response.
Some believe that this story might stick to the PM, and the ruling Party. Today’s Time Magazine ran with the headline, “Why David Cameron’s ‘Pig-Gate’ Scandal Isn’t Going Away”.
The Photo?
The MP who has leaked this story to the book’s author also claimed to have seen photographic evidence of the event, and have even given dimensions of the photo and the name of the person who possessed it. If this photo were to leak, it would most certainly mean the end of Cameron, and the Tory party – which would go into hibernation for at least 20 years as a result, if not die permanently.
Even the tabloids are struggling with it. This bizarre revelation is so shocking, that even the normally blood thirsty British media seem somewhat confused as how to react to this one. Meanwhile, Twitter is going ballistic with Tweets taking the piss out of the PM. Here are just a few:
