TN: Man Confronts Suspect, Fires Shot in Struggle

SWEETWATER-An alleged burglar may have gotten more than he bargained for when an armed homeowner pulled a gun on him early Wednesday morning.
The Sweetwater Police Department now has charges against one suspect and the investigation is continuing, SPD said in a press release.

Myers said he and the burglar struggled and that he struck the suspect several times and fired a shot at the suspect after the man swung at him and ran away. Myers showed police the sun hat and the suspect’s shoes after he lost them while running.
