Silly Putty is a non-newtonian fluid which has a lot of interesting physical properties that make it a good candidate to riddle with bullets in the name of research.
The Taofledermaus gang– the intrepid ballistics truth seekers who brought you the fact that a 5-pound gummy bear is surprisingly resistant to anything short of a tactical nuclear warhead– goes to town on a block of silly putty.
We aren’t gonna give it away, but lets just say Silly Putty is no gummy bear.
