The Denver Police Department arrested 10 people and destroyed “tiny homes” activists set up for the homeless at Sustainability Park Saturday.  Imagine that!  Getting caged for helping others!

Activists with “Denver Homeless Out Loud” were in the process of setting up a tiny home village to be occupied and managed by homeless people, organizers said.

  • Here’s a concept. With all of the vacant properties around why dont you guys pool your money together and lease a building that has electricity, plumbing, heat and air conditioning? I saw a story where they are doing the same thing in Seattle and are ploping these ‘shelters’ in the streets around the town. I am certain that public parks are taxpayer funded and for families to enjoy and not to go there to be made to feel guilty about the homeless or become a housing delevopment is my 2 cents.
