D.C. Cop Breaks Up Fight With A Dance-Off
This police officer deserves a raise in pay for what she did. She used her intelligence to extinguish what otherwise could have easily turned into an ugly situation.
It’s the viral video even President Obama is talking about, and some say it’s a good step in restoring trust between police and the public. A D.C. cop is caught on cell phone dancing with a student. Amy Yensi reports.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 (UPI) — A Washington D.C. police officer used a dance-off to break up a fight between two groups of teenagers, and the video of the moment even got the attention of the president.
When the officer approached the two groups, she asked them to leave. One of the teens challenged her to a dance-off instead.
The female officer took the teen, Aaliyah Taylor, up on her offer, but with a condition: If she won the dance-off, the teens would have to go. If Taylor won, the teens could stay.
The officer and the teen then put on a one-minute show that diffused the whole situation and left Taylor “speechless.
Now that’s more like it! No one was tased, pepper sprayed , beaten or shot for a change. Way to go officer!
