Harvard debate team gets beat up by convicts

And I'm not talking about what you're thinking about… no, those Harvard dweebs didn't get beat up in an alley off Quincy Street; they got beat in a debate!
There's a story that should shake up some stereotypes!
On the other hand, there's more to this story than meets the eye…
First off, I'm guessing the cons had way more time available for practice.
Secondly, this upset is due to what many refer to as America's “prison crisis.”
What crisis?
Sure, America may lead the world in the rate of incarcerating twenty year olds who sold a quarter ounce of weed to a narc, but without that massive talent pool, this story would never have been possible!

The criminals in question were receiving education through a local university close to the prison. What this says isn’t how smart the crooks are…it says how stupid the Harvard people are. We assume when someone comes out of an Ivy League school that obviously and without doubt they must be super smart…when in truth, the last few decades have seen the crumbling of Ivy League educations. They spend more time taking classes about gender equality and other fluffy, hippy crap while the under class has to educate themselves or take only the classes they need and can afford. Point being, the 1% are not as smart as they once were and they get dumber and more worthless with each passing year. The “Harvard” name ain’t what it used to be.
