I Did Not Kill Myself in Jail
I will be turning myself into the Hamilton County Jail in Noblesville, Indiana. This article will serve as a declaration regarding my physical, and mental health.
Although apprehensive about being in a cage that is under the control of a violent monopoly staffed by people who are operating with impunity, as well as, where thousands of people die every year, I sincerely believe this will not be my fate. Regardless, I am in excellent physical and mental health with no thoughts of harming myself or others.
There is a chance that Ademo and I will share a pod in jail. If this happens it will only make the time we are caged easier. We will not only have a familiar face, but someone who can be relied upon. For those who have been incarcerated, you know that the worst time is when you are new to a pod and are still getting to know your cellmates and falling into your routine.
Ademo and I have no desire to participate in pre trial services or in any way play their game. Due to this, we may be caged for an extended period of time. I have mentally prepared myself as much as possible for this Bernie Sanders vacation. I’m not too concerned about getting beat up, harmed while I’m jail. Chances are if they do try to mess with either of us in jail, it will be more subtle; Half meals and treatment like that.
The maximum sentence for criminal mischief which is a class B misdemeanor is six months in jail and a $1,000 dollar fine. Since I believe I am innocent of any and all of these charges my existence in the Hamilton County jail will be one of civil disobedience. The property that was “defaced” was a public sidewalk built by tax dollars and any “defacement” was cleaned up by city workers whose salaries are also paid for by tax dollars regardless of whether we chalked that night or not.
In summary, I will not be killing myself in jail and I will not be apologizing for my free speech. They can hold me until the threat of men with guns in other states coming to take me to a cage has been lifted. If that ends up being the rest of my life, they can take me out back and shoot me in the head. After all they bought the guns, they might as well use them.
