Man charged after wiping butt with summons, throwing it on officer

A 45-year-old man had an extra charge stacked atop existing charges after he took a summons, wiped his butt with it, then threw it at an officer in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.

Joseph Greenwood, 45, was already charged for disorderly conduct and threatening to kill another person, but took “the summons complaint issued to him upon his release from police custody, placing it between his butt cheeks, wiping the paper in an upward and downward motion and throwing it in the direction of the officer,” according to the indictment.

Greenwood is now facing a fourth-degree charge of throwing bodily fluids, which could warrant him 18-months in jail.
