A senior detective who made controversial remarks that a victim’s allegations of murder and rape at Westminster were “credible and true” is no longer in control of Operation Midland.
Detective superintendent Kenny McDonald was formerly overseeing the operation that stems from claims made by a man known as “Nick”, who says he was abused by a paedophile ring including high-profile people from the age of seven to 16.
He told police he was taken by car to “parties” where he was abused by a man on his own, as well as a group of men, at a flat in the Dolphin Square estate
