Our Super hyper Sun just had it's biggest filament explosion. EVER. – YouTube
The Sun has been going crazy all week with machine gun solar flares and now the Godzilla Monster of a Solar Filament has exploded from the surface with great intensity. I've never seen a filament that big explode before. I don't think it is Earth facing but I don't know.
I'm pretty sure the crazy solar space weather creates wild and weird Earth weather so keep your eye on Hurricane Joaquin especially if you are near the East Atlantic Coast.
Strange days, indeed.
