Over the weekend, authorities in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, found that a 51-year-old man with a criminal history had a huge of cache of an estimated 7,000 to 10,000 stolen firearms.
It took 100 law enforcement officers a full day to fill four 40-foot tractor trailers, but Chesterfield County Sheriff Jay Brooks said the sorting will continue at least through this week.
Brent Nicholson is charged with possession of stolen firearms at this time, but more charges will be added as the investigation – which Brooks said is “far from over” – continues.
