At some point, a person knocked on the front door and Myers became distracted. The victim told police he took the opportunity to fight the 21-year-old suspect.
The affidavit states the victim was able to overpower Myers and take his gun. He then tied up his attacker using a plastic garbage bag and held him until police arrived.
