It appears that the best way out of this mess, would be to have alternative means for these human beings to put food on their table, and keep a roof over their heads.
The decision to leave would be easy then, would it not?
Again we come back to decentralization, self-reliance, knowledge, experience, and cooperation.
Of course the means to do this can be more difficult if you live in a small box in the city, without the space that is needed. Consider, all the rules and regulations of zoning laws, neighborhood associations, and ignorant neighbors who call the government when they don’t like the way something looks. We are our own worst enemies.
Making it difficult for another to survive, makes it difficult for ourselves to survive.
