This is not really common to everyone since this word is a prison lingo for “hooch” or any kind of homebrew made from whatever prisoners can lay their hands on.This “pruno” is one of the most odd cases of food poisoning since there is a case where eight prisoners developed botulism when they all drunk the same pruno batch made from potatoes.

You cannot really argue how delicious grapes are, but you still need to be careful when eating this fruit. There are cases that this food poisoned a lot of people. Just two cyanide-contaminated grapes caused a nation wide “grape scare.” This “grape scare” made the Americans refused to buy or eat grapes.
6. Cornstarch
You cannot really imagine that this useful cornstarch is one of the most odd cases of food poisoning It was found out that the cornflour was contaminated with lead, thus causes an outbreaks of disease and illness. This contamination was detected during the routine food testing, the contamination of egg custard with lead. But, this is not the case anymore.
