  • The article, inter alia, states that coal takes 400 million years to form, and this fact may therefore be used to date anything found within it.
    It will come as somewhat of a surprise to the writer of the article therefore to learn that coal and oil can in reality form very rapidly; within a year or two, depending on the applied heat and pressure, and the presence of water.
    It will further come as a surprise to learn that all coal and oil extracted, and even diamonds, contain carbon-14; and thus, given that the half-life of this isotope is 5000 years, then such samples must inarguably be of recent origin.
    Putting all these facts together indicates that such artefacts are of recent origin; their discovery tens or hundreds of feet below ground reflects the additional fact that four and a half thousand years ago, there was a Great Flood.
    “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear”.
