Reacting to the Paris attacks, hacker collective Anonymous has declared war against ISIS by releasing what they call their “biggest operation” in opposition to the militant group.
In a video posted on YouTube on November 14, an individual, who seems to be a man, wearing the group’s signature Guy Fawkes mask states that Anonymous plans to hunt the militant group down. The spokesman pointed out that the group would apply hacking to destroy ISIS.
“Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared,” states the masked man in French. “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. ”
The video, which has had nearly a million views, is not the first call to action in opposition to ISIS made by the group of ‘hactivists.’ After the January’s Charlie Hebdo attacks, they infected extremist websites and took down thousands of ISIS twitter accounts.
As long as they do something useful for a change…
It seems a bit odd that Anonymous are going after ISIS when every man and his dog knows who the real culprits are. Somebody tell them before they waste peoples time and get some of them nicked for assisting in a concerted effort against the wrong target.
The organ grinder has scarpered so let’s focus on the monkey? Anonymous seem to be playing to the sheeple with all this ISIS crap. They should google earth Langley and take it from there. They soon forgot their own who are waiting for help in US gaols.
You must infilitrate the middle man before you can get to the top.
but ISIS = CIA and Anonymous is also CIA!
Fox to guard the hen house, I guess.
