Why would a (world wide) school system, which is managed by the government, want us to read books like 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, etc and make movies like “Network” and “The International” to mention a few, that specifically talk of dystopian futures based around the idea of governmental control?
If the government was truly trying to control us why would they make us read books about what would happen if the government controlled us? Would they really want us to read this stuff if control was their ultimate goal?
