In August, we found out the shocking truth of the matter that a familiar face on television-Jared Fogle, the Subway dude-was a pedophile who utilized his wealth, reputation, and secrecy to take advantage of kids.
Fogle pleaded guilty to having sex with 2 minors and possessing homemade child pornography, despite the fact that there were many more affected children. He arranged to a plea deal where he will perform 5 to 12.5 years in prison and pay $1.4 million in restitution to his subjects.
The account was reignited a couple of days ago when Before It’s News exposed the details of secretly recorded audio tapes. In them, Fogle’s perversions are set uncovered.
“I would fly us clear across the world if we need to. To Thailand or wherever we want to go. If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier,” said 38-year-old Fogle, married father of two, in the tapes. “I had a little boy. It was amazing. It just felt so good. I mean, it felt – it felt so good.”
The recordings were created by Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a former Florida journalist who took it upon herself to stop Fogle after listening to him claim his sexual taste for children. Masking her own repugnance, she befriended Fogle so she could document and reveal him.
She got into contact with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who expected her to wear a wire. Sugar coated in the nazi news media, nevertheless, is the reality that the whole procedure took 10 years, based on an interview Herman-Walrond gave to ABC News.
She used a wire for four-and-a-half years prior to the FBI taking action and busted Fogle.
“That was my biggest question, ‘Why was it taking so long?’”
journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond told ABC affiliate WWSB.
“A case of this size just happens to take that long, and that’s what I was told.”
Herman-Walrond stated she is convinced the overall numbers of victims in Fogle’s perverted spree is higher than 14, in the United States and “international tours” which includes Thailand.
As Fogle’s commentary and admissions got more brazen over the years, he even started asking Herman-Walrond if he could set up hidden cameras in the rooms of her 2 young kids. He inquired her if she had any colleagues with “hot” children.
Pretty much everything paints a picture of a wealthy, connected pedophile who had several years to guide his energies into victimizing more and more children. During this time, he rampacked and empowered those who supplied easy access to the kids, in the U.S. and in other countries.
For at least 4 years, the FBI had proof of Fogle’s criminal behavior and decided to let the abuse continue. As Herman-Walrond questioned, why did it take so long to stop him?
The casual justification is the bureaucracy itself, but we understand that when the government wishes to take action immediately, it does. It does not think twice in killing, disappearing, or jailing those it believes are a threat to government, and it sets aside constitutional protections to do so.
Nevertheless, when the threat is in the shape of sexual predation on children, government takes its time due to the fact “it just happens to take that long.”
As the awful audio tapes of Jared Fogle are broadcast for the entire world, we should also require some answers from the FBI on why it permitted this pedophilia to grow.

The investigation took so long because the FBI wanted to maintain a handle on Fogle’s operations. This wasn’t just some typical pedo. This guy was connected, rich, and was getting materials probably from various sources world-wide. You don’t kick the door in and nail him. As in the movie, Colors…you can run in and bust one…or walk in and get them all. The FBI was smart and used an insider to learn as much about Fogle and his connections as possible before finally moving in. You have to remember if Fogle goes down, everyone connected to him will run for cover. So before you get him, you need to have warrants and cases prepared to get all of his pals too. That takes time. Ten years in some cases. So was he able to commit more crimes in the meantime? Yes. But when you look at the numbers…while maybe he gets to commit 100 more crimes while your investigation is going on…when you finally move in, you nail him and 10 associates. So you not only prevent him but also the 10 pals from doing anything else in the future. It’s a Faustian bargain of sorts…allowing a 100 to prevent a 1000, but what would you do? You’d do exactly what the FBI did. You’d grit your teeth…bite your tongue…and go as long as you could to make sure you had as much information on as many sickos as you could before you let the hammer drop. So while they had to let him run wild for 10 years, in the end, perhaps they’ll have prevented thousands of children from being exploited in the future. Nailing one dude wouldn’t have saved nearly that many. And as for Fogle…the bastard is probably cooperating in the prosecution and investigation of others in order to get the lesser sentence.. But again…it’s a Faustian bargain. You let the lesser criminal get by with things in order to nail the really bad ones. Don’t dog out the FBI for doing things in this manner. It blows hard…and nobody said it’s fair or a good system we have…but they work with what they got.
