Heads Up! NORAD to Hold Training Flights Over D.C. During GridEx III Exercise
NORAD will conduct a training exercise in the D.C. area Between midnight and 2:30 a.m., a series of training flights will be held with the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Capital Region Coordination Center, the Joint Air Defense Operations Center, Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force and CONR’s Eastern Air Defense Sector.

Is it to insure that while the grid has been taken down that China, Russia & the rest of the world don’t decide to get rid of DC. They are just supposed to reap havoc in other cities and not Mordor on the Potomac.
