A shootout has reportedly taken place in central Paris, resulting in several casualties, according to the local media. Some witnesses said they heard explosions along with gunfire.

CNN affiliate BFMTV reports several people killed in shooting in central Paris.

There are reports that 3 separate restraunts were attacked in Paris, within the same area as the Charlie Hebdo HQ.

Sky news reports…

A least two people have reportedly been killed and seven others wounded after a gunman opened fire on a restaurant in Paris.

Witnesses said there were bodies lying on the ground and police had cordoned off the area after the attack in the 10th arrondissement, local media reported.

The attack took place near the Stade de France, where the national football team  are playing Germany.

President Francois Hollande was removed from the stadium after the shooting, according to iTele.
