We go LIVE to the Ukraine for an update from our man on the ground in Kiev to hear the latest from eastern europe as the worlds media turn their, and our, attention onto the the battlefield of Syria. We ask Alex to bring us up to speed on what is going on in the war striken country, and we share our thoughts on NATO drills and expansionalism, aswell as on the failed EU vernture that has left the Ukrainian people in an almost hopeless position.
We inform Alex that some of the media at the start of October were actually making out that things in the east were beginning to wind down, and Alex shares his views on this, and tell us the reality of what is happening on the ground.
NATO are running massive drills right now that are purely set up to provoke some kind of response from Russia & Putin, with 36,000 troops drilling in Spain, Portugal & Italy. There is even a permanent 4000 NATO troops going to be positioned right up along the Russian border – something the Putin warned against right back at the start of the troubles in Ukriane.

NATO is ready to quickly deploy ground, air or navy forces if necessary. The Trident Juncture military exercise gives a clear signal to any potential opponent of NATO, including Russia, NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with Spanish newspaper ABC.
Stoltenberg said that the Trident Juncture military exercise carried out in the south of Europe is a warning to all potential enemies of NATO, including Russia.
The active phase of the exercise started in Spain, Portugal and Italy on October 21 and will last until November 6. The training involves a total of 36,000 troops from 30 countries, including non-NATO Austria and Sweden, as well as 140 aircraft, 90 ships and submarines.

In response, Putin has told his security council to assess the readiness to respond to any kind of nuclear or biological attack. The Independent reports….
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his security council to assess Russia’s readiness to survive a nuclear, chemical or biological disaster and has told them to stockpile protective equipment if necessary.
The order was given during one of Putin’s regular meetings with the council that is made up of the heads of Russia’s intelligence, defence and law enforcement agencies. High-ranking ministers and the speaker of the Russian house of parliament are also permanent members of the group.

Dont take your eyes off eastern europe, because with the expansionalist policy of NATO, Russia could very well take actions into their own hands and move first, exactly what the west wants! No one wants to be remembered as the country that started WW3!
