The advancements in warfare and weaponry over the past 100 years have been astronomical. From the invention of the machine gun and the tank in World War One, to the modern air force and of course nuclear weapons in World War Two, military advancements have only continued to develop at a rapid pace in the later half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. As such, there is no doubt we are entering a very dangerous time in human history. Various countries, including our own, are developing weapons that science fiction hasn’t even thought of yet they are so scary. In a post from last week titled, Why First “Alien” Contact is Most Likely to Be Machines (Artificial Intelligence), Steven Hawking discusses his fear about our own Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) systems becoming aware (otherwise known as the “singularity). In that article, Hawking talks about his fear that once we develop a fully aware A.I., which could happen any day, because of an A.I.’s ability to learn so fast, it might design lethal nanobots designed to attack human beings on a cellular level, and we’d never see the attack coming. Thank God we’re not at that point yet, however, some very scary technology is becoming available.
NOW MORE THAN EVER, WITH THE ADVENT OF THESE NEW TECHNOLOGIES, WE NEED LEADERS WHO STILL POSSESS SOMETHING THAT AT LEAST RESEMBLES A MORAL COMPASS… SOMETHING WE HAVEN’T SEEN IN D.C. IN QUITE SOME TIME. LET’S SEE WHY:
Before we get to talking about invisible weapons, let’s take a quick look at a weapon that is almost invisible because of its tiny size, and you’ll see that the fears Steven Hawking has are very legitimate. Even if machines don’t invent nanobots to attack and kill humans on a cellular level, what’s to stop evil regimes from doing so? The following video is only two years old, but it shows how far the Air Force was willing to let the public know they’ve come with the technology. It’s safe to say if that’s what they released, odds are they were really much further along than they let on. The video gives a peak inside what nano-drone technology the Federal Government is currently implementing within the United States. That should be more than a scary thought because the nanobots can be deadly, insect-sized drones of the future. They are unobtrusive, Invasive, and lethal if need be.

Now let’s take a look at what is covered in the article below, and that’s invisibility. It looks like Harry Potter is no longer the only fella in town with an invisibility cloak. The article goes into detail about how several civilian outfits are close to perfecting the science, which would certainly imply the military has got the science mastered by now, at least on a small level.Take a look at the second video. Everything seems totally normal until about the 4:30 mark. At that point it’s almost like you’re watching the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger move, “Predator.” Some blur of light comes alive out of the trees and ambushes the insurgents. The video was released by Iraqi insurgents that survived the ambush from someone that was almost completely invisible.

Based on a Coast to Coast show that aired about a month ago on 9/20, there is no reason to believe the footage above was doctored or manipulated in any way. George Noory had a guest on by the name of Robert Guffy, who claims certain elements within the government have perfected the technology and have used it for nefarious purposes like spying within our own government. Can you imagine? Having listened to the episode, I can tell you it’s well worth listening to. The following is off the Coast to Coast website about that show:
In addition to revealing some of the less ethical things he knows, you’ll also learn the Pentagon has become very interested in a research team at the University of California-San Diego, Boubacar Kante, Li Yi Hsu and Thomas Lepetit, who released a paper detailing their testing of the first working “dielectric metasurface cloak” – an invisibility cloak.
The cloak is a lightweight, material which manipulates electromagnetic waves which include the normal spectrum of visible light detectable to both the naked eye and radio waves. The device renders it undetectable by radar because radio waves simply reflect off the material.
Radar detects objects by bouncing electromagnetic waves off an object and then back to the receiver. The principle is very similar to bats’ use of echolocation, a radar-like ability, to help them “see”.
Human vision requires light waves to bounce off matter and then is perceived by our eye receptors and sent to the brain for analysis.
According to the researchers, they claim they can theoretically manipulate light and sound waves to prevent detection, by both natural and mechanical means, in certain atmospheric conditions.
The concept of invisibility dates back to the ancient Greek myths including Perseus’ much-vaunted “cap of invisibility” to help slay Medusa. In more modern times, invisibility was popularized in H.G. Wells’ Victorian-era novel “The Invisible Man”, Star Trek’s Klingon cloaking devices, Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak and S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarriers in “The Avengers” films.
The scientists revealed their experiments involved cloaking a minuscule object but believe the transparent know-how will also work on much larger objects.
“I am very excited about this work,” Kante told Army Times.
The metamaterials tech could render military vehicles and transport undetectable to enemies while an army of invisible soldiers could wreak untold havoc.
Xiang Zhang, director of the Materials Sciences Division of the US Department of Energy, said it may take 5 to 10 years to perfect the system. “More work needs to be done,” he claimed, saying the invisibility cloak doesn’t function for radar and light detection systems yet.
The innovative tech could also be used to redirect solar energy and fix it to a single point, creating a blistering heat ray – like a magnifying glass focused on an ant. Or heat a home by bouncing radiant energy via a ceramic mirrored system.
Kante divulged that a Defense Department project manager has already contacted the research team. He is reportedly submitting a bid within weeks.
“Basically, we are ready to make them right now,” Kante told Army Times. “There’s no fundamental roadblocks. It would be easy to manufacture.”
For more, check out the 9/20/15 show, which dealt with fascinating claims that the military has already been secretly testing out invisibility technology.
British Columbia based Hyperstealth Biotechnology has developed a technique called “Quantum Stealth,” which is a type of camouflage that bends light around the wearer of an object to create the illusion of invisibility. [1] Hyperstealth is a Canadian camouflage design company, they work closely with the Canadian military which has over two million military issued uniforms and over 3000 vehicles and fighter jets.
Hyperstealth are not the only ones who have developed this technology.
A team of scientists at Purdue University in Indiana has shown that “it can hide events in the path of a continuous light beam by having several holes in time.” Researchers were able to cloak nearly half the data put in the beam’s path, which they would otherwise be able to detect. The study was published in the journal Nature. [2]

“If we part the water so it doesn’t see the dam popping up and down, it isn’t disturbed, and afterwards we can put the water back together so it looks like a nice calm river again. That’s how we control the flow of the light. We’re pushing it forward and backwards in time, so it avoids events that would otherwise disturb it.” [4]
Two researchers from the University of Toronto have also created and tested a new type of active invisibility cloak that can hide objects over a wide range of frequencies.
“It’s very simple: instead of surrounding what you’re trying to clock with a thick metamaterial shell, we surround it with one layer of tiny antennas, and this layer radiates back a field that cancels the reflections from the object.” [5]
Another breakthrough occurred in China in late 2013, where Chinese scientists were able to make both a fish and cat invisible by bending light around the animals. [3]
The Independent Post in the UK reported that anonymous researchers working at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics told the Post that he had been contracted to develop “full invisibility” technology for hypersonic jets saying:
“We are invisible people studying invisible technology.” [6]
Many scientists have said that a full out ‘Harry Potter,’ style invisibility clock is essentially impossible, but it turns out that they might just be wrong.
This type of technology is really cool, but with regards to the military aspect, more and more people around the world are starting to see that a ‘military’ is really unnecessary. The United States, for example, continues to spend trillions into the military for the sake of ‘National Security.’
It’s become evidently clear that nations do not face the threats that are portrayed on television, that many of these threats (like terrorism) are largely manufactured.
Again, it’s unfortunate that scientific discoveries lay in the hands of the Department of Defence. Both Kennedy and Eisenhower tried to warn us about the “military industrial complex” and the rise of misplaced power. You can read more about that here.
Today, science is largely developed for defense purposes, instead of being developed with the intent to benefit all of humanity.
