IMMINENT THREAT TO US CONSULATE IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY
There are reports coming out from US authorities warning of what they call an “imminent threat” to security at the American consulate in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

“Due to information about an imminent security threat against the US Consulate compound, the US Consulate General Istanbul advises all US citizens to avoid the US Consulate today,” Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) wrote on its website.
Earlier this week, in an incident that went relatively unreported, six people were injured after what is believe to be a pipe bomb exploded near to an Istanbul metro station.
Eariler in the year the country was rocked by two suicide bombers that detonated their devices killing over 100 people in Ankara in October
Turkey is awash with Jihadi fighters making their way too and from the war zone of Syria, so threats like this should not be unexpected, and im sure this wont be the last such threat either.
