Put aside underground bunkers. That certainly is not good enough. If Armageddon occurs, it is now being posted that the one percent projects to escape to Mars.
Newsweek put out an post this week saying that the new commercial space projects by billionaires such as Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are in fact about an escape plan for the wealthy elite one percent who plan to escape to Mars and leave the rest of us “to suffer on a dying, warring planet.”
The space travel companies state they are making a way for the human species to manage by populating other planets. But the main point here is that only the wealthy will have the ability to relocate to Mars. Musk’s target ticket price is $500,000 a person in 2015 dollars, and that is just to get there. Picture the new outfits you will have to purchase to go with that space helmet.
While it is accurate only the truly wealthy will have the ability to easily afford space flight with companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin, the thing that is funny about it is people’s reactions.
Many respond they are just happy to find out the elite will be blasting off to another planet.

It’s a sad statement on society to note that people’s immediate reaction to the first commercial space flight available ever wasn’t to be bummed they can’t afford to go to Mars; it was to be excited about the fact that the wealthy elite might leave Earth en masse and go somewhere so far away, it takes roughly seven months to get there.

No, they will most likely promise a few “lucky” poor people free passage to Mars by way of a “work program” that will turn into exacto slavery once they get there. Good luck getting away from Mars.

it is good idea to send the “Elite” to the Mars.
$5000,000 to get to Mars….and that will be used for what exactly if the planet is in total chaos. The financial system will have collapsed and no amount of fiat currency will get you a seat on the last bus out of town.
If there is an exodus from earth and the technology exists to make it possible, then only the elite and the chosen ones will be given a safe passage out…..the rest will be left to die!
You’re deluding yourselves if you believe that shipping the so-called “one percent” elitists off-world is going to fix humanities problems. Sadly, negative character traits such as greed are here to stay; the problem, rather, is human nature itself. Do you not think that even if the current one percent were to suddenly disappear, that new groups of elites would not rise and fight for hegemony to take their place? Until we as a species undergo some serious evolutionary changes, I don’t see much change occurring regarding how we choose to conduct and govern ourselves.

That is why alternative sites are important despite their low appeal because of mass ignorance. The elite plan to retreat to South West Tasmania where they already have an underground city in place but the location was chosen because they want something a surface environment to emerge onto for when they get sick of their hole, that is pristine and far enough away from the world to be safe from devastation and nuclear fallout.
They should have left 14 years ago after they killed 3000 people on 9-11-2001 and started bogus wars in the middle east and now are shipping in refugees by the hundreds of thousands.
“Elite” banksters and other scum would never do such stupid thing as to relocate themself to the already dead planet Mars.
You say “they want to leave 99%” on dying planet Earth – but it is planet Mars that is already dead, and planet Earth is still very alive.
“Elite” scum would rather send 99% of the people to the dead planet Mars.
