Narcissists are Delusional/Crazy ~ Narcissism Philosophy

(Before It's News)

Description from YouTube…

If they had Self-Love they would not treat people the way they do.

They were victims who don’t think they have issues. They refuse to evaluate themselves honestly.

I’ve come to believe that narcs are Ill, immature people… albeit dangerous. I also believe there is an element of wickedness in them, because they know what is required to be a ‘normal’ person. They put on the face of a ‘normal person’ for the public, but behind closed doors they let their masks down and let their wickedness come out. They also tend to prey on the weak (their young children; a person they’ve conned into loving them; a person dependent on them). And they use any vulnerability or love someone has to their advantage.

Yet, at their core, they are weak, immature, intellectually vacant, and, yes, crazy. It’s just that they’re so brilliant on putting on a show — it fools us. And that’s what makes them dangerous. Their lack of empathy for their diabolical behavior is especially abusive.

For victims of narcs, perhaps the worst part is that no one believes you. Their brilliance at ‘putting on the mask’ for public consumption is so believable — so compelling — that very few people will be willing to believe that what they’re seeing is a lie. Rough situation. Not easy at all. But I believe overcoming the narc ‘web’ makes us stronger.

I believe the hardest thing to deal with in life is truth. It wasn’t easy to deal with the truth in my narc situation. But I did it and I’m better for it. And truth is something the narc will NEVER accept. Actually, they are quite pathetic.

And, not only will no-one believe you, but the narc will usually try to frame you to make YOU look like the bad guy in order to maintain their false self’s public image – no mercy at all when the mask slips off. The best thing about being the victim of a narc is that it (hopefully) forces you to evaluate your OWN narcissistic traits as well as co-dependent traits (we all have a little or a lot of both), in order to avoid being hurt again and to be aware of how your own narcissistic traits are harmful to others.

was going to say “sorry,” because narcs avoid apologies like the plague. But you’re right, narcissism is based on projection, it lives from that and its very foundation rests on their projection (or their delusion) that there’s something wrong with YOU, that you’re the misfit. Without that fundamental premise, there’s no narcissism. That’s really the crux of the matter and it can’t be emphasized enough. And like you said, when you engage with it, you’re engaging in their “crazy.” That’s when you step aside., You don’t negotiate with mentally deranged people. But the problem is that NPD is so insidious that by the time you figure out that it’s them and not you, it’s already too late. That’s what I resented most was buying into the concept that there was something wrong with ME.

Projection:
Projection is a psychological defense mechanism where a person represses their own undesirable thoughts, motivations, desires, and qualities and “projects” them on to other people. It works in reducing anxiety of the unacceptable impulses or feelings by allowing their expression in a way that the conscious mind can’t recognize.

Word Salad:
When they’re feeling threatened or bored, psychopaths will often use what’s called “word salad” as an attempt to regain control over you. Basically, it’s a conversation from hell. They aren’t actually saying anything at all. They’re just talking at you. Before you can even respond to one outrageous statement, they’re already on to the next. You’ll know it in a second, because you’ll be left with your head spinning.
