Quick look at the Ruger American Pistol (VIDEO)
Ruger released the new American Pistol and GunsAmerica got an early look at the soon-to-be-popular handgun.
Falling in line with other guns in American series, the American Pistol has a polymer frame and a host of desired features. Also, the company has highlighted numerous holsters that fit the American Pistol.
The company says the gun features a ambidextrous controls, a modular wrap-around grip system, Novak LoMount Carry three-dot sights, a stainless steel slide with a black nitride finish, and more.
Starting out, the Ruger American Pistol will be available in 9mm and .45 Auto. The 9mm will be available with a 10- or 17-round magazine and the .45 has a 10-round capacity.
