We are becoming conditioned to look the same.
There are identical twins, so that is not shocking when we see two people the same in appearance.
As we become more conditioned to sameness, we will be more accepting to cloning.
This is called Social Engineering and is conducted on many different levels. One might scoff at the linking of consumer products, however “Sameness” engineering takes time and is experimented with using many different alternative mediums.
Cloning has many serious ethical and moral issues but we can fully expect that the conditioning of “sameness” will be on going, creating a more openly accepting society.
