There has been a $5000 reward offered since 1931 for anyone who could prove the earth was round. Nobody collected. Since that amount is no longer significant, we need to increase it because the only force that will overcome human cowardice is greed.
I would like to collect it.
Rent a small boat and a laser distance measuring device those are sold at home depot.
1)Find a light house,
2)Measure its height to the top from sea level.
3) Head out in to the sea opposite direction from the light house, measure distance and angle at which you no longer see the light at the top. This will give you distance in Miles or KM away from said light house.
4) using height of the light house and distance at which it is not longer visible you can calculate the angle using a2 + b2 = c2 .
5) Repeat this on lake, Sea and Ocean as you travel to a few destinations or trust another person with boat and simple measuring equipment.
With collected data you can now see that angle of earth curve is the same everywhere and water does bend with the earth curvature which flat model would not allow for as you dismiss gravity needed for this process.

1) – You mean head directly away from the lighthouse out to sea.
2) – You mean use the solution to the right angle triangle except that would only work for a flat earth because there are no right angles on a curved surface.
3) – You mean readily available and very accurate measuring equipment whereas a piece of string or rule would be more likely described as simple.
4) – You mean the degree of curvature not angle of the earth.
Water bends round the earth ? Absolutely ridiculous. Here’s another one-I know an International pilot who flies from country to country and he says that every few miles they have to put the nose of the plane down to follow the curvature of the earth otherwise they would fly out to space.

If Earth was flat all ships on water would be able to see each other from decks with magnification, they would use grid and you would also be able to see where it is currently still day time if you got up high enough and looked far enough.

The force of gravity is a constant and one can calculate the mass of the earth in relation to the mass of any object held to the earth by it’s gravitational force. God gave us these laws for learning the truth. The DISTANCE from the earth to the sun can also be calculated mathematically as can be the planets (which are all GLOBES) I’ve listened to these arguments now for some time and I am convinced that to believe that the earth is flat is a matter of FAITH because there is no proof in fact, the opposite is true.

Your statement “God gave us these laws” is your belief, something you take on faith. Why is that any different than you statement “to believe that the earth is flat is a matter of FAITH?”

I have no position concerning this matter yet, however, I do have some questions. Flat earthers….what about asteroids and meteor impacts that are facts ? Where are they coming from ? What about historical evidence found in the ancient writings of many past civilizations which seem to strongly support the Nibiru/Planet X/Wormwood scenario as so well spelled out by Gill Broussard and others ? The Nibiru/Planet X scenario better explains the wild weather changes and wild insanity of our leaders than does a closed in, domed terrarium. I’m starting to think that the flat earth thing is maybe a psychological-op to draw attention away from the incoming Brown Dwarf and it’s entourage, etc. That being said, I must admit there are some interesting issues arising out of this flat earth controversy. Here’s another one that might be a do-able experiment………..cruise down to the ice wall, ship is facing south (facing the ice wall), try to circumnavigate the antarctic by turning and traveling east or west (right or left). If we are a globe the trip should be far shorter than if you have to navigate the interior side of our outer terrarium boundary and if we are on a globe then when you turn your ship right to start your journey around the pole, you will have to constantly make left hand course corrections while you will have to do the opposite (right hand) corrections if you’re following around the inside of a terrarium. Start your journey to the right ……if course corrections are constantly to the left ……we are on a globe……if the course corrections are constantly to the right and it takes far longer to complete the trip back to the starting point……we are in a terrarium. Right ? [ Do I get the $5000.00 ? Either way you go..... it's round.]

What is even more pathetic are the people who insist it is round yet you cannot prove it. A simple set of binoculars on water or a straightway railroad track with marked distances will give you evidence of a flat earth yet there is more if you do some experiments.

I think if you bother to look into it that to see the curvature (if there is one) you need to be at at least 40 000 feet. Planes you fly in do not reach that altitude. What you see is a lens effect through that thick glass you call a window.

On another note: noticeably there are no direct flights between Perth, Australia and Santa Cruz, Argentina. Not even just once for funsies. The Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 both have the range for it and a bit to spare besides.

No it doesn’t prove much, either way, but that was my intention. The flights to Antarctica are often touted as proof as if they were actually flights over the continent but they never are.
All i really know is that, scientifically, mathematics is unable to conclude the definitive answer but that it doesn’t really matter because flat, spherical or inside out we’re still making a huge mess regarding planet husbandry.

A direct route from South America to New Zealand should overfly Antarctica in the same way as a flight from Oslo to Anchorage does over the Arctic region. Apparently there are no such flight going from let’s say Capetown to Auckland, or Rio to Christchurch. No scheduled flight does not mean that a charter, business jet, or privately own twin aircraft shouldn’t be able to cover this distance.
Apparently there is no record -outside of the military….. of such flights over the “South Pole” region. If a “civilian” pilot and not “NASA” has done such a one-way trip (not a round-robin without landing), then this should prove every skeptics that the earth is a globe.

Anyone claiming that the earth is flat either is a complete fool or works for the PTB. You see, there is a massive campaign AGAINST TRUTH as much truth has been coming to the surface in the last 15 years because of the internet and the times that we live in. I didn’t know that the Federal Reserve was a private bank owned by the Rothschilds and the Morgans 15 years ago. “Controlled Opposition” is the method used by the PTB to monitor the flow of information. They do this by allowing some hidden truth to be known but steering people away from the WHOLE truth using “dis” information (lies made up to cover real truth; false flag ops etc.). The best example I can think of is Alex Jones whose “Infowars” program cleverly DEFINES controlled opposition. Alex Jones knows that there is a WAR for information going on and he is at the front lines. To sum it up, he gives enough truth away to gain the truth seeker’s trust. Once he has their trust, he can tell them anything and they will believe it. It really is INFO WARS and it is THEM against US.

Thank you Santiago for reading my comment. Most who see more than one or two sentences about something look away without putting the effort in to read it. That is why they are dumbed down in the first place…too lazy to take the effort to dig for truth! That’s the whole problem with people in general; they won’t do any work of their own to dig up the truth so they believe someone else who learned from someone else who said this or that and they never learn real truth for themselves.
I totally agree Chefjim. Not only that, they often do not read past a headline but they use the information from that headline to construct what they would call informed posts and responses. When doing research they look no further than the first couple of items from a google search and start spewing “facts.” Often not even doing the simplest of things like checking dates or comparing, through multiple sources, for accuracy.
That was an excellent explanation of controlled opposition, chefjim. If we dare attempt to think like the PTB, then flat earth could be just another psy-op that gets people talking, arguing, and spending a whole lot of time trying to ferret it out. There are truly mercenary writers who rewrite some valuable articles in order to dilute some truths in order to make those truths less devastating. Now besides being mere distractions from more important issues, what is the purpose of “controlled opposition”? Please allow me a simple analogy:
The “Truth” is like water flowing down a river; the “Lie” is like a dam which retains the said water. The dam has a limited life, and then it bursts…. As a consequence the water floods the valley down bellow. One of the controlled opposition’s purpose is to give a little of that water with the hope of avoiding a disaster. There are plenty of articles and books going back hundreds of years yet not a single bit of proof until NASA. The problem is that NASA has been caught over and over again in lies like the film of the moon walks, the porthole, they tried to pass off as Earth, and the space shuttle that clearly is landing with the aid of jet engines.

The problem, 4809, is that mathematics does no such thing and that is precisely why we find ourselves arguing for and against flat-earthism.
I have no position concerning this matter yet, however, I do have some questions. Flat earthers….what about asteroids and meteor impacts that are facts ? Where are they coming from ? What about historical evidence found in the ancient writings of many past civilizations which seem to strongly support the Nibiru/Planet X/Wormwood scenario as so well spelled out by Gill Broussard and others ? The Nibiru/Planet X scenario better explains the wild weather changes and wild insanity of our leaders than does a closed in, domed terrarium. I’m starting to think that the flat earth thing is maybe a psychological-op to draw attention away from the incoming Brown Dwarf and it’s entourage, etc. That being said, I must admit there are some interesting issues arising out of this flat earth controversy. Here’s another one that might be a do-able experiment………..cruise down to the ice wall, ship is facing south (facing the ice wall), try to circumnavigate the antarctic by turning and traveling east or west (right or left). If we are a globe the trip should be far shorter than if you have to navigate the interior side of our outer terrarium boundary and if we are on a globe then when you turn your ship right to start your journey around the pole, you will have to constantly make left hand course corrections while you will have to do the opposite (right hand) corrections if you’re following around the inside of a terrarium. Start your journey to the right ……if course corrections are constantly to the left ……we are on a globe……if the course corrections are constantly to the right and it takes far longer to complete the trip back to the starting point……we are in a terrarium. Right ? [ Do I get the $5000.00 ? Either way you go it's round.]
