Since China realized that European countries and the U.S. are reaping big gains in Africa, the Asian nation set out to increase its activities in the continent. The nation came in through businesses, partnerships, and support to several different projects.

Now, the country’s activities in the country have surpassed those of the U.S. China now has $200 billion in businesses and $75 billion in investment.

But that’s still not enough for China. The country is now set to establish its first military base within the continent, according to information by a top U.S. general. The move is a huge step for the country as it seeks to explore areas beyond the Asia-Pacific.      source
