Woman shoots man after she’s hit, kicked and strangled (VIDEO)
A 29-year-old man is in police custody recovering from a gunshot wound after he allegedly hit, kicked and strangled the mother of his children Thursday afternoon at a home in Chattanooga.
Police were called just after 1 p.m. and when they arrived found the woman with visible signs she was involved in a violent altercation. According to the woman, she and Kevin Lamar Wilson became engaged in an argument which eventually escalated to physical proportions.
The woman told police that Wilson assaulted her and she reacted by grabbing a gun and – fearing for her own life after being hit, kick and strangled – shot him once in the arm.
Wilson then left the home and drove himself to the hospital.
It’s unknown if the children were home at the time of the incident.
