2016: The most important election of our lifetimes
Gird your loins! We’ve got work to do!
This New Year brings with it both opportunity and obligation.
Barack Obama, who has worked double-time* to weaken our nation and circumvent the U.S. Constitution that ensures our freedoms, will be termed out and a new — hopefully conservative Republican president — will be elected.
It’s our duty as responsible citizens to do all we can to inform ourselves about the issues and work to get out the vote this time as we never have before. Apathy will enable the untrustworthy Hillary to return to the White House — this time calling the shots and making key appointments. Of vital importance are the Supreme Court vacancies that will occur as justices in their 80‘s leave the bench. The 2016 election will place in office a person with the potential to change the face of SCOTUS for decades to come.
Conservatives are justifiably disheartened by the collusive actions of House Speaker Paul Ryan and the GOP majority, who surrendered to Congressional Democrats on the $1.8 trillion tax and spending Omnibus Appropriations Act —- giving them all the bloat they and Obama desired.
We’ve seen what happens when our presidential choices are limited to unreliable, establishment squish candidates such as Mitt Romney, John McCain or Bob Dole. As GOP posers, U.S. House “leaders” John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell and their ilk have clearly demonstrated that it’s not only Democrats who are betraying us.
These are perilous times. As global atrocities committed in the name of Islam are given short shrift, we witness Barack Obama calling ISIS a “contained JV team;” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton exposed as deceiving us about the carnage in Benghazi; and current Secretary of State John Kerry capitulating Neville Chamberlain-like, on guaranteeing a nuclear capable Iran.
We’ve got our work cut out for us.
