BREAKING NEWS! Morocco Detain Belgian National Linked To Paris Attack… Is It Abdeslam?
We are in the early stages of a developing story, but I can report that news is coming out of Morocco concerning the arrest of a Belgian national with Moroccon heritage. The story is literally breaking as we speak with Sky News now starting to run it on the running board.
The question must surely be whether or not they have finally traced and captured Europe’s most wanted, Salah Abdeslam, the alleged Paris attacker that has evaded escape thus far.
A Belgian man “directly” linked to the Paris attacks has been arrested in Morocco, authorities say.
The suspect, of Moroccan origin, was arrested in the port city of Mohammedia, the Moroccan interior ministry said.
It said the suspect fought in Syria with al Qaeda-linked rebel group al Nusra Front before joining Islamic State.
More than 130 people were killed in the coordinated terror attacks carried out by IS on 13 November.
