It is called Passover, easter is the name of a pagan goddess. and Passover is the 14th of the first month of God’s year which is Nisan.
The gentile Roman catholic church changed it to a sunday, the day of the sun god.
The term translated as easter found in the KJV is Passover. That term easter was added to give it creditably. None of the Apostles or disciples ever keep easter, they observed Passover and all 7 of God’s Holy Feast.

Archbishop of New York, John O’Connor was not excommunicated. In fact, in 1995 when he reached 75, the customary age of retirement for bishops, he submitted his resignation to Pope John Paul 2 who declined it. He remained Archbishop of New York until his death in 2000.
