NC: One Killed, One Wounded in Home Invasion

A man was killed after allegedly breaking into the west Charlotte home of someone he knew early this morning, according to a CMPD release. Police responded to a call on State Street just after midnight and found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead on the scene and the other was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with a serious injury.
