A traffic stop in Madison County, Ohio, last week turned up an astonishing find: 123 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $615,000.
An Ohio state trooper initiated the traffic stop after observing the vehicle in question following too closely. During the stop, a drug-sniffing K-9 alerted officers to something suspicious and a search of the vehicle turned up the massive amount of pot.
Both the driver, who is 47-years-old, and the passenger, who is 46-years-old, were arrested and charged with felony drug possession and trafficking.
