Well, colon is an organ in the human body, which is responsible for many important body functions and processes in the human body. This organ keeps the water balance in the human body. It’s also responsible for other functions as well, such as: regulates and improves the function of the immune system and helps in the digestive process.
We can easily say that the colon has very important role and function in keeping us healthy and keeps our body fully operational. If our colon is not working like it should be, the toxic waste will not be flushed out of the human body, but instead it will be absorbed and accumulated in it.
The food we consume every day needs at least 24 hours to pass through our digestive organs. But, some foods that are with poor nutritional value, low in vitamins, fiber and enzymes will slow down the process and it will take up to 70 hours to pass though our digestive organs. And the final result of this unhealthy process is pounds of accumulated waste in the human body. Constipation – the most common sign that there is a toxic waste in the body.
