(Before It's News)

I have viewed the video of C.J. Grisham's arrest.  In my opinion, Officer Steve Ermis should be fired, and prosecuted for violation of civil rights under color of law.

For more than two years, Christopher “C.J.” Grisham didn’t know what happened to his two guns after his arrest for openly carrying the weapons in Temple.

Upon his Class B misdemeanor conviction for interfering with the duties of a peace officer, Grisham — president of Open Carry Texas — hoped his confiscated guns would be returned to him. Temple Police and Bell County officials denied knowing the location of the weapons when a reporter asked two years ago.

The confusion is now clear.

Bell County Attorney Jim Nichols told the Telegram Wednesday that the guns are now in the custody of the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. Lt. T.J. Cruz, a department spokesman, verified the guns are in a secure location in the agency’s custody.
