Caught On Tape: 800 Angry Farmers Storm Greek Ministry, Beat Cops With Shepherd’s Sticks +Videos

On Friday, we got confirmation of what everyone already knew: the Greek economy is still mired in recession. GDP contracted 0.6% in Q4 after shrinking 1.4% in Q3.
We also found out that Greek farmers have most assuredly not calmed down since they parked their tractors in the middle of the street blocking traffic late last month.
Why are the farmers mad, you ask? Well, they’re not particularly enamored with the idea of having their social security contributions tripled and their income tax doubled as part of PM Alexis Tsipras’ push to satisfy creditors in Brussels who, six months after the country’s third bailout program was agreed, aren’t satisfied with the pace of fiscal consolidation.
So what do you do when you’re an angry farmer from Crete hell bent on demonstrating just how frustrated you are with a government which just a little over a year ago, swept to power with promises to roll back austerity? You grab your shepherd’s crook and some tomatoes and you storm the Agriculture Ministry in Athens.

So America, when are you going to start? Can anyone tell me where even 1 penny went in our $8+ Trillion Dollar additional debt went? I guarantee you, not one person, in one single community in any city can say that got this money back to any community in all 50 states. So who cares your gov is stealling it, and not one of you ask where even one penny went? If it came to our communities, we’d have more community services, food, road, bridges, jobs, but who cares? So you can’t say 1 penny went to your community, so whats stopping you from asking? OK media, ask for one community who got support. Not 1 penny to Flint, or Water in the West, the military is down to the year 1930 of active duty personnel, so Pearl Harbour is coming. Services still being cut, but not one penny has been accounted for in 8 years.
Who cares. Its only money from our communities taxes, and every penny being stolen by your corrupt Gov. So did even 1 penny get placed in your community? No – didn’t think so. Why don’t you care, or ask and Gov official, or even ask the media to account for it? Stay drugged America – you are the perfect example of brainless, deadbeats…
