Donald Trump Explains It All: Post-Iowa-Caucus Edition
The schadenfreude factor was off the charts, by any pollster’s gauge, on Donald Trump’s social media platform of choice (that would be Twitter) and in various media outlets on Tuesday following Trump’s bruising defeat to Ted Cruz in Iowa the night before.
True to form, though, the newly downgraded GOP runner-up was ready with the #doublespeak after a few uncharacteristic tweetless hours. Turns out that Trump’s surprising loss to Cruz wasn’t really a loss, nor was it surprising, according to the renegade candidate himself. What a surprise.
