Grandma with staple gun to attacker: ‘I will crush your skull in if you touch me again’ (VIDEO)
A feisty 52-year-old grandma was recently targeted for a robbery in the garage of her Indianapolis home, but the suspect quickly learned she wasn’t ready to go down without a fight.
The woman, who only wanted to be identified as Carol, told reporters after the incident that she had just parked her car and was in her garage when the would-be robber attacked her. The suspect demanded her purse, then pushed the woman against a freestanding tool chest. Carol, in turn, reached for a tool – a staple gun – to defend herself.
Carol said she hit her attacker with the staple gun, but her attacker came back for more, which is exactly what she gave him.
“I loaded up with two more in my other hand,” Carol recalled. “He starts charging at me again and I said, ‘I will crush your skull in if you touch me again.’”
The suspect then apparently wised up a bit and took off.
Carol said she knew she had to either “fight like heck” or suffer a bad outcome.
