Libya’s Interim Government Blasts US Aggression

On February 19, US warplanes bombed Libya, on the phony pretext of targeting ISIS and an alleged Tunisian terrorist – a flagrant act of aggression, violating core international law.

Two Serbian nationals were killed among other fatalities, America guilty of mass murder, longstanding US policy – civilians harmed most in all its wars.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic “demanded explanations from the US about whether they knew that foreigners were present at the site” struck.

Given sophisticated US intelligence, saying they didn’t doesn’t wash. Human lives and welfare don’t matter, imperial objectives only.

The interim Libyan government blasted US aggression, calling it a grave violation of its sovereignty, a statement saying:

It “strongly condemns the airstrikes carried out by the US Air Force at certain positions in the town of Sabratha on Friday morning, February 19, 2016, without any coordination or consultation with the interim Libyan government.”

“Any interference, similar to the one that has taken place, will be considered an open and flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Libyan state and international law.”

“(A)ny military or political interference into Libyan affairs should be performed in a legal way through parliament and the newly formed government.”

It holds the US-led international (Western) community fully responsible for “the worsening…domestic economic and social situation, as well as the security situation that contribute(s) to the (infestation and) spread of” ISIS terrorists in the country.

The Pentagon called mass murder a major success – typical US arrogance, forcing its will on other nations, naked aggression its strategy of choice.

Is Libya 2.0 imminent? Does Washington complicit with its imperial partners intend repeating their 2011 nightmare – naked aggression by any standard?

They raped North Africa’s most developed country, transforming it into a dystopian wasteland, murdering tens of thousands, displacing many more, creating unspeakable human misery.

Are horrors they inflicted about to be repeated? America’s killing machine partnered with rogue allies shows no mercy, human life and welfare of no consequence.

Its endless wars of aggression reveal its sinister dark side, pure evil threatening humanity’s survival.
