RAF Jets Scrambled To Intercept Russian Bombers NOT in UK Airspace
So, UK scramble fighter jets in response to Russian TU-160 Bombers coming close to UK Airspace and an area deemed “of interest” to the British Government? Just aswell Assad doesnt scramble his or Putin’s fighter jets any time we cross into Syrian airspace ILLEGALLY!
We had better get used to this being the new norm now that we are openly in a new cold war, not my words, but those of the Russian Prime Minister Medvedev during a recent speech.
What gets me is the fact that the UK government, via their lap dog media, love to spin these non-incidents into something they are not. Nothing even happened and they spin it like we were on the verge of WW3.
Yet at the same time we are flying over Syria and dropping death from above with no permission granted by the host nation.
Lets not even begin to get into the fact we are doing exactly the same to Russian borders on a daily basis as NATO keep on expanding up against the Russian border.
Double standards anyone?
RAF Typhoons have been scrambled to intercept two Russian supersonic bombers heading towards UK airspace, Sky News has learned.
A Ministry of Defence spokesman confirmed that the Russian Tupolev TU 160 aircraft are in the UK’s “area of interest,” but have not yet entered UK airspace.
The Typhoons, which were dispatched from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, are currently escorting the bombers south across the North Sea.
They are part of the UK’s Quick Reaction Alert.
The UK’s airspace covers a 12-mile radius out from the UK coastline.
