The North Koreans are fearful that this joint military exercise in South Korea will end up being a pre-emptive strike. I cannot say that I blame them.
I have just received intelligence information which states that China is planning on a partial blockade against Taiwan. An attack upon North Korea would make that impossible.
This is all preliminary. However, there is a reason why the Chinese are shutting down South China Sea to sea travel.

There are 360,000 combine S. Korean and US troops taking part in a massive offensive drill. A US carrier fleet is momentarily expected to arrive in the region to provide air cover.
The Chinese have put their nuclear arsenal on full alert as have the North Koreans earlier this week.
