The guys down on Demolition Ranch lucked into a pretty hefty 7-inch block of aluminum and decided to see what, if anything, high-powered lead would do to it.
Starting with .22LR and spending two days working their way up through 9mm, .40S&W, .44 Mag, .50AE, .460S&W, .30-30, 5.56mm Greentip, 7.62x39mm, (you see where this is going), .308 Win (including an API round), .338 Lapua Magnum, and even .50 BMG armor piercing rounds.
And in the end, you will be surprised how well the block held up.
