- The DARK Act was defeated in the U.S. Senate today, achieving a massive victory for consumers and also for the Environmental Working Group, which helped organize large-scale opposition to the bill.
The DARK Act would have outlawed state-level GMO labeling laws nationwide, condemning American food consumers to remaining completely in the dark over the genetically engineered content of their food.

Yes, the politicians ALL got a tidal wave of calls. But wasn’t the vote tally 49/48! How do they get away with this. Because people still haven’t got the message that it is actually an imposter de facto poser government! A private, for profit corporation, pocketing our tax dollars and getting fat on our resources without paying a dime and charging US for OUR resources. I’m telling you, when you wake up, you’re gonna be pissed!
