US President Barack Obama has accused David Cameron of being “distracted by a range of other things” in the aftermath of the 2011 military intervention in Libya.
In an interview with The Atlantic, Mr Obama said the British Prime Minister stopped paying attention soon after the NATO-led operation that led to Muammar Gaddafi’s toppling.
Since the government’s collapse, Libya has descended into near-anarchy, ruled by rival militias vying for power while the Islamic State (IS) group has gained influence in the country …. http://www.abc.net
