Light saber leads to college lockdown

A New York college was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning, causing quite a scare, after someone called 911 to report that a man was seen in the campus parking lot armed with a rifle.
As it turned out, there was not any real danger and the lockdown was quickly lifted when it was discovered that the “weapon” responsible for the panic at Farmingdale State College was just a toy “Star Wars” light saber.
No one was injured during the incident and no one was arrested since no laws were broken.
